Mind of Christ
Published in Paperback by Harper Collins - UK (September, 1990)
Author: Anthony Duncan
Average review score:

Standing before God.....
The author's understanding of prayer caught my attention at once: Standing before God with your mind in your heart. It is an extremely old and orthodox teaching. The rest of the book was based on this close and heart centered relationship with the Divine.

Many of the topics of Christianity are discussed, from Mary (the mother of Jesus), to the Eucharist, to community. All of these stand on the relationship of the Christian with God.

I found this book very attractive, and I wanted very much to know more about the author and what he was up to.

Models and Friends
Published in Paperback by Janssen Verlag (September, 2001)
Author: Kenn Duncan

Re-Living the 70's!
This is a step back in time, to the 1970's, when Kenn Duncan (1929-1986) was one of America's best-known photographers. Kenn Duncan was truly the 70's, his camera captured all of the glitzy fashion, style, lust, and male beauty that existed in this exciting, happy decade, when disco and dance were at there peak. This book is a beautiful collection of some of his most famous male-nude photography. These images are sexy, kinky, campy and innocent all at the same time. Duncan found some of the best looking men available to photograph from that decade.

You can tell Duncan had a way of communicating with his models that brought the best out of them. He loved life, people and photography. It sure shows in this collection of photographs, and I thank him for leaving us this great contribution of his talented work.

Modern Approach to Classical Guitar: Book Two
Published in Paperback by Hal Leonard (June, 1982)
Author: Charles Duncan
Average review score:

This is a good book for the advanced beginner.
This is the book that my classical guitar instructor started me out on. If you have a background in music, and can read music written for other instruments, then it is a great. I am using it right now to re-teach myself some basic music reading skills. The practice pieces it containts ranges from advanced beginner to intermediate in scope.

The mountebank
Published in Unknown Binding by Houghton Mifflin ()
Author: Duncan R. Wallace
Average review score:

Excellent coming of age novel
I read this book 25+ years ago when I picked it up off of the new book shelf at the Seattle Public Library. It is the story of two boys at a private eastern school in the 60s. One is quiet from a middle class family, the other is daring and rebellious from a more advantaged family. His pranks are audacious, funny and ultimately negative. This was the only book of this author. He died swimming in Europe just after publication. I would recommend this book to any male between 14-25. Actually, anyone would enjoy it although Noni can become irritating!

A terrific book.
This is a wonderful, heartwarming book about human relationships. It is the culmination of a terrific series of "My Friend" books, and is probably best read after at least some of the others.

Good family values of interest to Jane Duncan fans
After her husbands illness Janet takes a much needed break in Scotland, where she finds herself in charge of her brothers young family, while their mother is in hospital. Old favorite charecters help her and we are introduced to new members of her extended family. This book, while being very entertaining emphasises good family values.

My Valentine Counting Book
Published in Hardcover by Little Simon (January, 1999)
Authors: Varda Livney and Duncan Maxfield
Average review score:

my son loves it!
My son positively loves this book and "Things I Love". The illustrations are fabulous, and given that my son is only 10 months old, I'm guessing that's what he loves so much! He pages through them time and again, and sometimes the only way he'll lie still for a diaper change is when he's got one in hand.
